Disc Wood Chipper Application
Disc wood chipper is specially designed for cutting wood logs, timbers, planks, tree limbs and trunks with a diameter about 3-18cm and a length not less than 25cm into smaller, fine particles(wood chips and sawdust). This wood chipper is widely used for premium wood chips processing plant, it is suitable for paper mills, particleboard, fiber board factory and wood chip production base.
By disc wood chipper, raw materials (diameter is less than 200mm), such as logs, timber can be cut into high quality industrial wood chips and shavings with even length, incision smooth and uniform thickness. But for materials (thickness above 350mm or less than 5mm) and materials (length less than 250mm) and irregular raw materials (the stump, branches, less than 5mm thick bamboo timber etc.), this machine does not have full uniform cutting function.

Main Structure and Working Principle of Disc Wood Chipper
Disc wood chipper is mainly composed of base foundation, chipping body, straight transmit gearing and power engine. The chipping body includes cutter head, feed inlet, discharge outlet, and cover. The cut blade can be adjusted according to the need, then could produce wood chips with various specifications and thickness. When crushing, the disc and the cutter head welded on the disc rotate with high speed, then the wood materials are transmitted to the chipping chamber through the feed inlet and cut into wood chips, which finally are discharged by high-speed airflow produced by cutting knife plate blades.
