Wood pellet price in Switzerland increased slightly

In September, the retail price for ENplus A1 wood pellets in Switzerland is slightly higher than the previous month. The current average price is 375.10 CHF (342.60 EUR) per tonne, which is 0.4% more than in August. As compared to September 2014, the price is lower by 7%. Since May, the average price rose by less than 3 CHF/t.

In euro terms, the price was 333.79 euros a year ago, and is therefore currently 2.6% higher than in September 2014.

Depending on the delivery quantity the September 2015 price varies between 364.14 CHF (332.58 EUR) and 387.29 CHF (353.73 EUR) per tonne.
